The people of the hills  subsist chiefly by woodcutting and carrying. Woodcutting which  has been an important land use practice for the survival of mountain people who use wood as a construction material for their homes, as a fuel and as a source of income. The work of these people is difficult, dangerous, intermittent, low paying and primitive in loving conditions, but these men built a traditional culture that celebrate strength , masculinity , confrontation with danger and resistance to modernization.
